Top Five Questions CNN Anchor Eliot Spitzer Should Ask Disgraced Politician Eliot Spitzer

Now that CNN has officially announced Elliot Spitzer as the new co-host for their upcoming 8 PM show, we can all look forward to seeing the former governor of New York fulfill the promise of his surprisingly good tenure on MSNBC.

Of course, the segment everyone will most want to see from the new program will never happen, mostly because it’s physically impossible. That segment is, of course, an interview between hard-hitting cable anchor Eliot Spitzer and disgraced former Gov. Eliot Spitzer.

Think about it: Spitzer vs. Spitzer. It would be the best interview in the history of everything ever. It would be like Frost/Nixon but with an even greater guarantee that someone will win an Oscar for the inevitable movie adaptation! If only we had a time machine…

Even though it’s impossible, we at Mediaite are still allowed to dream and, in our dreams, we created this list of the top 5 questions we’d love to hear asked during this epic (and imaginary) meeting:

    5. “As a politician embroiled in a scandal that is completely disrupting your professional and personal lives, isn’t it nice to talk to someone you can relate to?”

    4. “Where do you see yourself in two years?”

    3. “Have you been watching the news coverage of the scandal and, if so, would you mind writing down the names of every CNN correspondent who says something mean? I’m totally gonna mess with their lunches in the break room.”

    2. “What are your feelings about David Paterson? What would you say if I said he almost makes you look good?”

    1. “Take a good look at where you are now. Now take a good look at me. Would you describe your mind as having been blown, shattered, or completely obliterated?”

So, if any of our readers are mad scientists currently working on plans for a time machine or are, in fact, travelers from the future who have infiltrated our present time and already have a time machine, please make our dreams come true. Otherwise we are just going to have to wait for the inevitable awkward moment where Spitzer is required to weigh in on a disgraced politician. All signs point to it being a short wait.

If I was Eliot Spitzer’s boss at CNN, I would pay close attention to his expense reports…..especially his billings for “entertainment.”

Makes you wounder if Hannity or Faux News/ GOBP TV ever cared that Dick Morris pays prostitutes so he can suck their toes.

Of course not, as long as Morris sticks to GOBP talking points propaganda, right-wing teabaggers soak it up like a sponge.

I suspected the same will be true of Eliot Spitzer, he will be tolerated as long as he sticks to Democratic talking points.

There is an illegal pyramid scheme masquerading throughout America as a direct selling organization. How can you allow this company to destroy American values and operate right under your nose?

Unfortunately this company purportedly does $500 Million in annual sales and has in excess of 100,000 active representatives and 100’s of thousands who have suffered, been ripped off and lost money with this illegal business opportunity.

We desperately need your help to investigate and shut down this illegal enterprise as it is taking advantage of people in a recession and promises broke unemployed individuals the opportunity to become millionaires in 3-5 years if they pay to follow the cult.

The pyramid scheme is fraudulent because it requires the payment by participants of money to Fortune Hi-Tech Marketing, Inc. (“Fortune”), in return for which participants receive (1) the right to sell products and (2) the right to receive in return for recruiting other participants into the program rewards which are unrelated to sale of the product to ultimate users.

From 2001 until at least July 1, 2010, Fortune utilized a Polices & Procedures document that sets forth a compensation structure that amounts to a fraudulent and illegal pyramid scheme, both by its very terms and by its implementation by Fortune in practice.

Under the Compensation Plan utilized by Fortune until at least July 1, 2010, IRs are able to earn compensation from two sources: (1) bonuses for recruiting and sponsoring new representatives; and (2) commissions from sales of products and services by themselves and by recruits in their “downline.”

In recruiting presentations, the defendants and other individuals at the top of the Fortune Pyramid, presenting official Fortune marketing materials, consistently emphasize recruitment of new members over sales or products and services to customers outside of Fortune.

The commission structure rewards recruitment, not sales to customers outside the Fortune Pyramid, because IRs are encouraged to purchase Fortune products and services themselves or sell them to IRs they recruit rather than to sell them to customers outside the Fortune Pyramid.

Fortune’s commission structure makes this possible by allowing IRs to earn commissions on sales without ever actually selling anything to a customer outside the Fortune Pyramid. In fact, prospective IRs are told while joining Fortune that they must purchase certain products to earn their first “customer points” and therefore allow bonuses to be paid to their sponsors.

These “active personal customers” need not be actual human beings, let alone human beings outside of the Fortune Pyramid; rather, a product or service purchased from Fortune by the IR him or herself qualifies as a “customer” for purposes of allowing IRs to receive commissions and bonuses. The “customer points” assigned to each Fortune product or service determine how much of any given Fortune product or service must be purchased to qualify as one customer.

Although one of the three “customers” purportedly must be “other than his/her own personal or household account”, Fortune neither tracks nor enforces this policy, and the policy itself permits this customer to be another IR.

To perpetuate the fraudulent pyramid scheme described above, Fortune claims to have special relationships with or to be a “partner” of several large major national companies whose products and services Fortune offers. These companies include, but are not limited to, AT&T, Verizon Wireless, Sprint, Dish Networks, General Electric Security (“GE Security”), DuPont and Home Depot. Fortune has used the trademarks of these and other companies in marketing materials and business presentations in order to convince prospective customers that Fortune is a legal business.

In reality, Fortune does not have any sort of special relationship with these companies. Fortune is not a “partner” with Dish Network. Rather it is a third-party independent contractor authorized to sell Dish Network service.

Fortune also represents that athletes, politicians and famous businessmen such as Ken Lewis, Jim Miles (SC SOS) and Chris Rock are representatives, build their credibility.

The founding team are from the defunct Excel Communications from the 1990’s.

I am attaching a copy of some recent state action but it is not enough. FHTM is currently under investigation by the Texas, Illinois, SC and Michigan AG offices. PLEASE HELP!
