‘Five Alarm Fire!’ MS NOW Pundit Mashes Panic Button — Urges People to Scream ‘At the Top of Our Lungs’ About Trump Rigging Elections

MS NOW Political Analyst Eddie Glaude urged Americans to go into full-blown panic mode because President Donald Trump and his “band of liars” are hard at work plotting how to rig elections and sabotage democracy.

Glaude was semi-hysterical during an interview on Alicia Menendez’s program on Tuesday — and he said it was time for other civic-minded citizens to feel the same way, before it’s too late.

“It’s important for us to be screaming at the top of our lunges,” Glaude insisted. “This is a five alarm fire, because this is part of the assault on America democracy.”

He warned a moment earlier:

We need to understand this from two angles: They’re going to try and limit who can vote, because we know we’re in an all-out assault on the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1965 and the Voting Rights Act of 1965. So there’s an assault on who can vote, and then there’s the practice of how they count the votes.

Glaude has been worked up about the state of American democracy for a few months now.

He said in June he felt “great trepidation” about celebrating the nation’s 250th birthday because the country is being “destroyed” by Trump. Glaude said he was sickened by the “gutting” of the Voting Rights Act and the redrawing of districts in the South, as well as Trump’s crackdown on illegal immigration which he said harkened back to the 1920s.

Glaude on Tuesday warned MS NOW viewers Peter Navarro was one of the MAGA “liars” who was angling to “undermine American democracy.” That came after Menendez said Navarro was “breathing new life into The Big Lie” by claiming a day earlier he will soon be sharing “good stuff” on 2020 corruption.

Of course, many Trump fans share Glaude’s concern in the complete opposite direction, after New Jersey Gov. Mikie Sherrill (D) revealed last month a “serious software error” led to thousands of non-citizens being registered to vote — which Trump and his allies claimed confirmed their fears, although the actual number of noncitizens who cast votes was nowhere near the scale that the president has described.
