Governor Kristi Noem (R-SD) was not happy with her viral CBS interview Sunday — or the tactics of Face the Nation’s Margaret Brennan.

In a post to X/Twitter, the South Dakota governor fumed about the way she was treated on the air — claiming Brennan interrupted her 36 times over the course of their sitdown.

“This morning in our 15-minute interview, Margaret Brennan interrupted me 36 times — once every 25 seconds on average,” Noem wrote. “But when liberals like @gretchenwhitmer and @SpeakerPelosi are on @FaceTheNation, they aren’t interrupted once. In the fake news media, there are two sets of rules, and conservative are always treated like differently. That’s why Americans don’t trust the Fake News.”

In the interview, Noem repeatedly refused to admit she did not meet North Korean leader Kim Jong Un — despite admitting to “errors” relating to the passage in her forthcoming book, which are being removed. Other contentious exchanges included a back-and-forth in which she suggested President Joe Biden’s dog should be shot, and Noem touting former President Donald Trump’s endorsement of her book, despite his reportedly being disturbed by the governor’s revelation she once shot and killed her dog.
