White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller slammed the Biden administration in a post calling for “suicidal migration” to be reversed after the visa status of the suspect in a horrific attack on a pro-Israel group in Colorado was revealed.
Federal authorities identified Mohamed Sabry Soliman, an Egyptian national, as the chief suspect in what they described as a “targeted terror attack” and who sources revealed to Fox News had overstayed a visa granted during the Biden administration.
Soliman was arrested Sunday after an alleged attack on a pro-Israel group participating in a weekly event advocating for the release of hostages held by Hamas and regularly staging symbolic runs and walks in cities across the globe.
The attack left eight people between the ages of 52 and 88 injured, one critically, after the suspect attempted to “set people on fire.”
Soliman allegedly shouted “Free Palestine” and attacked participants near the county courthouse, according to Boulder police.
Fox News, citing three federal sources, reported that Soliman entered the U.S. via Los Angeles International Airport on August 27, 2022 on a tourist visa. He was authorised to stay until February 2023, but remained in the country illegally, later applying for asylum and receiving a work permit valid through March 2025.
Miller took to X to condemn the Biden administration:
Law enforcement officials are now treating the incident as an act of ideologically motivated violence, with the FBI launching a formal terror investigation. FBI deputy director Dan Bongino said the agency’s assessment is based on “early information, evidence and witness accounts.”
Authorities have not yet confirmed the specific charges Soliman is facing.
