RFK Jr Diagnoses Mark Ruffalo With a Bad Case of ‘Trump Derangement Syndrome’ After Texting Battle

Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. diagnosed actor and progressive activist Mark Ruffalo with a gnarly case of “Trump Derangement Syndrome” during a Friday podcast interview.

Kennedy said it was obvious Ruffalo is brutally afflicted with TDS after the two got into a squabble over text message recently.

“I was texting with Mark Ruffalo the other day, he’s very mad at me,” RFK Jr. said on the Fly Zone USA podcast.

Host Christian “Trick Trick” Mathis was surprised to hear it. He jumped in and asked, “Incredible Hulk?”

Mathis cracked up when RFK Jr. confirmed he was talking about the Marvel actor.

“He’s got really bad Trump Derangement Syndrome,” RFK Jr. continued. “And one of the things he said [is] ‘You’re working for the stupidest man in America.’ Now you can say a lot about Trump — and a lot of Democrats believe he’s stupid — and I actually at one point believed that. I believed he’s very superficial, he probably hasn’t read a book. Now that I know him, he has like an encyclopedic mind.”

RFK Jr. went on:

He knows everything, he knows about music — he has these incredible [insights] about the musicians, he loves music. He loves theater. He knows everything about sports. He can out-talk you on every sport.

He knows everything about Wall Street, who made their money, how they made the money, what the deals look like. And then he knows foreign policy.

The secretary continued by saying Trump proved his foreign policy genius while they were flying together one time. Kennedy said Trump took his “very beautiful hand” and drew a “perfect picture” of the Middle East, showing the troop strength each country had at their borders.

As for Ruffalo, his Trump-bashing resume stacks up against any MAGA hater. The Shutter Island star has branded Trump a  “pedophile,” a “convicted rapist,” and a “grifter” over the years, as well as called the president “public enemy number one.” 

He also told MS NOW Trump had “made himself a king and dictator” during an interview at a 2025 “No Kings” rally.

Trump has scoffed at “whacked-out” protesters like Ruffalo in the past and said last year,“I’m not a king — I work my ass off to make our country great, that’s all it is. I’m not a king, at all.”
