‘What’s the Matter With You People?’ Bill O’Reilly Shames Fellow New Yorkers Over ‘Inexplicable’ Kathy Hochul Poll
Bill O’Reilly was left dumfounded by New York Governor Kathy Hochul’s (D) approval rating, asking his fellow New Yorkers, “What’s the matter with you people?”
On his No Spin News, O’Reilly reacted with shock to a Siena College poll released this week that showed most registered voters in New York want someone besides Hochul as governor. But O’Reilly was even more shocked by her approval rating.
According to the survey, 36% would support a Hochul redux while 55% want her replaced. On the approval side, 50% approve of her job as governor while 46% disapprove. The poll was taken among 805 registered voters, broken down by party to resemble New York’s voter rolls, with 49% being Democrats, 22% Republicans, and 28% independents.
“Now I don’t know who you are that’s approving of Governor Hochul when the capital flight out of New York State is horrendous. The affluent in business are leaving in record numbers. The rents are crazy, the taxes are the highest in the nation, crime is frightening and terrifying, and 50 percent say she’s doing a good job. What’s the matter with you people? And I mean that. What is the matter with you?” O’Reilly asked.
The poll also asked whether New York is on the right or wrong track and O’Reilly was again shocked to see more than 40% say New York is on the right track.
“If you are saying New York State’s on the wrong track, what is wrong with you. I mean, do live in the woods?” he said. “Do you not see the traffic, the pollution? The horrific crimes, the high taxes, the higher mortgages and rents, you not see any of that? I just, it’s inexplicable to me. I know that people vote their pocketbooks, and I know there are a lot of poor people on the Democratic rolls who vote Democrat because the Democratic Party gives them entitlements.”
