MSNBC Host Rages Over MAGA ‘Snowflakes’ Upset Over Cracker Barrel Rebrand: ‘So Many Things Offend Them!’

MSNBC’s Jonathan Capehart slammed critics upset over the controversial Cracker Barrel rebrand, claiming MAGA supporters and conservatives are too-easily offended.

On MSNBC’s The Weekend, hosts Eugene Daniels and Capehart blasted the pushback to Cracker Barrel over their logo design. The company recently unveiled a cleaner logo that eliminated the image of a man in overalls leaning against a barrel. The company shed nearly $100 in market value the week of the announcement.

Many of the Cracker Barrel critics have been conservatives, including President Donald Trump’s son, Donald Trump Jr.

“The logo is fine, companies go through rebrands all the time. You know what I’m sick of?” Capehart said on Saturday.

“Manufactured BS?” Daniels said after covering the pushback to the rebrand.

“Yeah, manufactured BS, but I’m so sick of the outrage of these snowflakes. There are so many things that offend them, that get them all upset, they’re shooting beer cans and burning hats and stuff like that,” Capehart said, referencing right-wing protests, including against Bud Light. “Meanwhile, there are real things people are concerned about and they’re losing their minds over a redesign. What the — see, I’m trying not to curse.”

Daniels dismissed the outrage as not genuine as Capehart called the new logo “nice.”

“I think the manufactured outrage is also about them pretending to feel attacked. Because when you think about Cracker Barrel, as someone who’s been a lot as a kid in the South, you think of folks in the south, you think about folks who are probably MAGA voters, right? That those two circles are probably very close together,” he said. “And so they’re pretending that this thing that Donald Trump Jr. all of a sudden heard about and cares about now, Cracker Barrel. He’s so offended by it and it’s wokeness and I would love to hear from him whether or not he’s actually been to a Cracker Barrel.”

“It’s not like they closed Cracker Barrel or replaced though the little man leaning on the on the barrel!” Capehart added.
