Marjorie Taylor Greene Destroys Trump Pal Laura Loomer For ‘Appalling And Racist’ Attack On Kamala Harris
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) publicly slammed fringe MAGA activist Laura Loomer for a racist post targeting Vice President Kamala Harris and mocking her Indian heritage on social media.
The spat exposes fresh tensions within the MAGA movement as former President Donald Trump campaigns to regain his grip on the GOP nomination.
Loomer, a close associate of Trump, sparked outrage Wednesday after attacking Harris in a post on X invoking offensive cultural stereotypes.
“If @KamalaHarris wins in November, the White House will smell like curry & White House speeches will be facilitated via a call center,” Loomer wrote.
The post was widely denounced, but Greene’s swift and public rebuke stood out: “This is appalling and extremely racist. It does not represent who we are as Republicans or MAGA. This does not represent President Trump. This type of behavior should not be tolerated ever.”
In response, Loomer hit back with threats of her own.
Greene’s criticism followed Loomer’s appearance alongside Trump during 9/11 memorial events in New York and Pennsylvania. Loomer, who has no official role in Trump’s campaign posted photos of herself with Trump as they visited Ground Zero and met with first responders.
The Trump campaign has so far remained silent on the controversy.
This exchange is just the latest bout in the long-standing feud between the women, who both have histories of provocative rhetoric. Greene, however, previously blasted Loomer in April as “mentally unstable” and warned Trump against hiring her.
