‘There’s Been a Trend’: Fox’s Karl Rove Busts Out the White Board to Show Trump’s Post-Conviction Poll Slump

Karl Rove believes former President Donald Trump’s cold streak in the polls is more than a blip on the radar. It’s a full-fledged trend.

Appearing Saturday on The Journal Editorial Report, the Fox News contributor broke out the white board as he laid out the recent numbers.

“There’s been a trend since the the May 30th guilty verdict in the New York case,” Rove said — who showed how in five of the six most recent major national polls, included the one conducted by Fox News, Trump is either tied with or trailing President Joe Biden.

Rove took out a second white board to explain where the Biden gains are coming from.

“So Biden has ha numbers that are moving up a little bit under women and seniors,” Rove said. “He’s still underperforming among women. Trump is doing well among Black, Hispanic and young compared to previous Republican campaigns and his own. But…the movement is among independents. And they have move, in recent polls, roughly nine points towards Biden.”

The famed Republican strategist directly attributed Trump’s poll slide to his recent felony convictions in New York.

“Remember, 21 precent of independents, in a survey shortly after the conviction, said that they would be less likely to vote for Donald Trump as a result of the conviction,” he said.

Rove’s analysis will certainly not sit well with Trump — who has regularly fumed about Fox News polls and Rove on social media.

“GET RID OF KARL ROVE!!!” Trump wrote, back in March.
