Fox News’ Bret Baier Loses Bet With Jake Tapper Over Super Bowl, Will Donate to Charity
The Philadelphia Eagles triumphed over the New England Patriots last night, and there’s no doubt that the Super Bowl aroused passion in general across America this weekend. CNN’s Jake Tapper and Fox New’s Bret Baier were also highly invested in the game, and that’s partly because they had money on the line over who would win.
TMZ caught up with Baier, and they asked him to comment on National Anthem kneelers and President Trump‘s friendly relationship with the Patriots. Baier wouldn’t bite, but he did announce that he and Tapper had a friendly bet: whoever picked the winning team got to pick a charity that the loser would have to donate $250 to. Baier went with the Patriots and Tapper made it quite clear who he was cheering for last night.

As it were, Baier told TMZ that he’s getting ready to write a check now that the results are in. The two anchors also joked with each other about the bet on Twitter today, and the donation will go to Homes For Our Troops, a charity to support homeless military veterans.
This is true… and now @BretBaier is donating to @HomesForOurTrps ! Thanks, Bret! #FlyEaglesFly ? https://t.co/KkR2rSVjou
