Killer Mike on Charleston: ‘I Wish Those Folks in That Church Had Been Armed’
Artist and activist Killer Mike caused a bit of a social media stir today when he tweeted that he believes the Charleston victims should have been armed.
Killer Mike hasn’t been shy about sharing his views on rioting in places like Ferguson and Baltimore, the media coverage of such, and the argued link between rap and violence.
Well, today he made his case for why the Charleston victims should have been armed, and responded to some of the Twitter pushback he got:
What happened in Charleston is an act of terror committed by a terrorist. Simple & plain. I wish those folks in that church had been armed
