Mediaite extends its congratulations to our sister site, Law&Crime, for their brand new launch on Sony TV.
The site’s TV network just premiered on Sony’s TV and PlayStation™ Vue platform, making them the only 24/7 live linear trial news network on the service. Law&Crime will join the platform’s considerable lineup of popular channels, including Oxygen, Investigation Discovery, and CNN.
“Our distribution footprint continues to expand significantly. And, clearly, we have seen tremendous audience growth as more partners like Sony Vue, with their impressive market share, continue to see the value of our live trial coverage and original legal and crime programming” said Alex Kopacz, Head of Content Distribution & Licensing at Law&Crime.
Viewers can find Law&Crime on the Playstation Vue core package, which grants access to a plethora of channels and premium features. The subscription-based service provides on-demand programming, multiple view and simultaneous stream capabilities, and a cloud DVR feature so people can record trial proceedings and watch them at their leisure.
Law&Crime broke records in February by logging more than 50 million minutes of viewership across a multitude of platforms. In fact, the network’s inclusion on Playstation Vue is the latest in a series of deals designed to expand its reach, and provide live trial coverage and legal and crime programming to even more viewers.
