President Trump Retweets More Anti-NFL Protest: ‘WE CAN BOYCOTT YOU!’

President Donald Trump can’t stop, won’t stop tweeting about the demonstrations made by NFL players during the playing of the national anthem.

With players either kneeling or locking arms in solidarity today while the Star Spangled Banner played prior to games, Trump has taken to Twitter to provide some real-time commentary. Earlier this afternoon, he tweeted that the show of solidarity was great but “kneeling is not acceptable.”

In this instance, the president retweeted a supporter who called for a boycott of the NFL. In earlier tweets, Trump has seemingly endorsed a boycott while claiming the league is suffering through bad ratings over the protests:

After retweeting the supporter, POTUS then sent out this observation:

Trump made this issue front and center on Friday when he called protesting players sons of bitches at an Alabama rally. Since then, he’s gotten into a feud with Stephen Curry and withdrew a White House invitation to the Golden State Warriors and has sounded off numerous times on social media about the demonstrations.
