Rudy Giuliani Decries ‘Fake News Coverage’ of Mueller Memos
Rudy Giuliani, lawyer to President Donald Trump, blasted the “fake news coverage” of the new memos from special counsel Robert Mueller.
Many legal analysts have said that the SDNY Michael Cohen sentencing memo lays out prosecutors directly saying the President committed a crime. However, Giuliani today said the “fake news” can’t change the “reality” that there’s nothing connected to Trump:
Fake News coverage can’t change the reality that Mueller’s late Friday dump demonstrates yet again no evidence connected to President. It also indicates SDNY is asking that Cohen receive a 4 year prison sentence, longest so far, because as we have said he’s still lying.

The President himself last night rather dubiously claimed that the big news “totally clears” him.
