S.E. Cupp Panel Mocks Trump Over Omarosa: ‘Don’t Appoint a Demolitions Expert to a Bridge Building Job’
The sudden departure of Omarosa Manigault from President Donald Trump‘s administration has been at the top of the news for the past 48 hours.
As far as S.E. Cupp and her panelists on Unfiltered are concerned, it’s Trump’s own fault.
Thursday, Cupp and company mocked the President for appointing the former Apprentice castoff to such a visible position in the White House.
“You give someone a loyalty job so they can kind of just be quiet and feel good about themselves for a minute,” Cupp said. “Not so they can mess up your whole world.”
Unfiltered contributor Andy Levy added that he always believed that those who received loyalty jobs from the White House were named to positions such as the “ambassador of Lichtenstein.”
“Maybe don’t appoint a demolitions expert to a bridge building job,” Levy added. “Not the best move.”
Levy’s fellow Unfiltered contributor Erin Gloria Ryan chose to view the Omarosa ouster with a glass half full perspective.
“I’m looking at it positively,” Ryan said. “This is a moment of real national unity.”
The line elicited laughter from the panel, and agreement from Cupp.
“I haven’t heard a single person say, ‘this is a mistake,'” Cupp said.
