During today’s press briefing, White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders was asked about the president’s tweet and whether he believes that there is a cover-up going on at the FBI. She was also questioned about POTUS claiming this is a huge story.
“I think he thinks that there’s a great cause for concern that five months’ worth of texts have gone missing, particularly given the individual has been part of that process has been shown to be extremely biased against the president and was involved in what seems to be very inappropriate behavior,” Sanders responded. “That is a great concern.”
The press secretary further chastised the press for being obsessed with Russian collusion while challenging them to have “some of that same obsession” when it comes to looking at “really inappropriate and possibly illegal behavior.”
