Terry Crews Named as New Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? Host

Actor Terry Crews, who you might know best from the Old Spice commercials, Everybody Hates Chris, or Brooklyn Nine-Nine, has been named the newest host of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?, replacing current host Cedric the Entertainer.

The syndicated game show has been around since 1999, first hosted by Regis Philbin, and Cedric the Entertainer had only taken over the show last year before announcing recently he wouldn’t be continuing on with the program.

In a statement, Crews said, “Millionaire is such a beloved franchise, and I can’t wait to get started as the new host. In addition to my film projects including Blended, Brooklyn Nine-Nine and now being a first-time author, hosting has always been a dream of mine, and I couldn’t have asked for a greater opportunity.”
