The president’s back on Twitter and, yep, he’s once again going after his favorite target — the media.
A day after he called for the firing of Washington Post reporter Dave Weigel after Weigel tweeted out and deleted a misleading photo from Trump’s Friday rally in Pensacola, President Donald Trump tweeted out that there’s been “very little discussion” of the spate of corrections that mainstream outlets have made to some high-profile stories recently.
Very little discussion of all the purposely false and defamatory stories put out this week by the Fake News Media. They are out of control – correct reporting means nothing to them. Major lies written, then forced to be withdrawn after they are exposed…a stain on America!

It would appear that Trump is referencing CNN’s correction to their botched WikiLeaks report, the clarifications made to a number of outlets’ stories on a subpoena sent to Deutsche Bank by Special Counsel Robert Mueller and ABC News’ Brian Ross getting suspended for misreporting on Michael Flynn’s guilty plea.
