During a 60 Minutes segment that served as his first televised interview since becoming President-elect, Donald Trump opened up about what happened on the phone call when Hillary Clinton conceded the presidential race to him on a phone call. He also revealed that Bill Clinton called him the next day and was very gracious. (President Barack Obama, too, called him.)
He admitted that he thought the call was tougher for her than it would have been if the roles were reversed.
Finally, he said that he told her she was a great opponent and he was glad to have gone up against someone so strong.
