Trump Adviser Doesn’t Think Death Threats Tweeted at ‘#1 GOP Presidential Candidate’ are ‘Funny’
A senior adviser to Donald Trump‘s presidential campaign tweeted links to alleged death threats made against the Republican candidate at the official Twitter accounts of the Department of Homeland Security, the Secret Service and President Barack Obama.
Danial Scavino, Jr. sent the links out on Friday, saying that Trump should receive protection from the secret service as a result. BuzzFeed’s Andrew Kaczynski noticed the tweets on Saturday and posted a screenshot of a handful of them.
All 10 of the linked tweets have since been deleted. According to Kaczynski, most of the threats appeared to have been made by “what look like teens.”
Despite this, Scavino repeated his concerns in two subsequent tweets.
I do not find DEATH threats of the #1 GOP Presidential candidate (@realDonaldTrump) since July, to be funny, or “joking” in any way.

DEATH threats of #1 Presidential candidate @realDonaldTrump R NOT funny or joking matters in 2days world we live in. https://t.co/BYdhPdafBh — Daniel Scavino Jr. (@DanScavino) October 17, 2015
Considering the things Trump has repeatedly tweeted and retweeted about Megyn Kelly and others, it appears his previous rebuttal of Fox News Sunday host Chris Wallace‘s question about being “thin-skinned” was inaccurate.
