Trump Threatens to Challenge FCC ‘License’ of ‘Fake News’ NBC: ‘Bad for Country!’
President Trump is on Twitter again, and he clearly took notice of what NBC News has been talking about today.
Fake @NBCNews made up a story that I wanted a “tenfold” increase in our U.S. nuclear arsenal. Pure fiction, made up to demean. NBC = CNN!

With all of the Fake News coming out of NBC and the Networks, at what point is it appropriate to challenge their License? Bad for country!

The network put out a report on Wednesday which said official sources told them that Rex Tillerson was caught by surprise after Trump asked about a major expansion to the country’s nuclear arsenal during a national security meeting months ago. This was the meeting that reportedly caused the secretary of state to call Trump a “moron.”
The recent reports seem to have gotten under Trump’s skin, seeing as the president brought up the story in a recent interview where he talked about competing against Tillerson in an IQ test. Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders dismissed this yesterday by saying Trump’s remarks at the time were a joke.
Trump might say the latest news is “fake,” but if MSNBC’s Stephanie Ruhle is any indication, the network is prepared to defend their reporting once again:
Dear @realDonaldTrump – we stand by our reporting and appreciate you taking the time to watch. https://t.co/0FShKwrPcu
