WATCH: Protestor Heckles Donald Trump at CNN Republican Debate (UPDATED)

Screen Shot 2015-12-15 at 10.16.09 PMRecently GOP frontrunner Donald Trump has had to deal with a splattering of hecklers and protestors at his campaign speeches and public events. Just one day after a contentious scene in Las Vegas where a rallygoer shouted about lighting someone on fire, it appears as if a protestor worked his way into The Venetian for tonight’s mainstage debate as well.

As debate moderator Wolf Blitzer pivoted to the question, “Are Americans safer than dictators in the Middle East?” to Trump, a man from the back of the room can be clearly heard interrupting the Republican candidate.

The man appears to shout, “The American people deserve a clean and fair election and not billionaire auctions!”. He is quickly drowned out by Trump, who continues his response.

Check out the above video of the moment from CNN.

UPDATE — 10:23 p.m. ET: CNN Senior Reporter Dylan Byers took to Twitter shortly after the heckler’s interruption to post video from the balcony of the theater. Byers identifies the man as Kai Newkirk of the advocacy group 99 Rise:

Newkirk himself took to Twitter claiming credit for the interruption:
