President Donald Trump has returned from his Homeric odyssey to Asia. After spending a few quality hours on Twitter, he delivered remarks to the press, in which he touted the trip as “the longest visit to the region by an American president in more than a quarter of a century.”
The president spoke of the visit in glowing terms, saying “America is back and the future has never looked better.”
The remarks carried on for so long, however, that Trump became thirsty, causing something of a scene when he couldn’t find water, crouching under the lectern to continue his search until reporters informed him that there was bottled water on the table beside him.
The moment, though quick, was plenty awkward, and folks on Twitter did not miss a beat, accusing the president of pulling a Marco Rubio.
Trump just had a “Little Marco” moment, where he needed to stop and have a sip of water.

He mocked Rubio for this!! Like, it was a thing on the campaign for a while! Trump once threw water on the audience and yelled "IT'S RUBIO!!!" Said Rubio would be weak with Putin, etc. as a result. https://t.co/qVE9UdOUf4

Trump pulls a Marco Rubio & slurps down water during his speech. But it’s worse than Rubio. Trump holds the bottle with two hands like it’s a baby bottle. Fitting.#ImpeachTrump #AMJoy pic.twitter.com/5CPKzSSCKq

It took only minutes for Rubio to respond, offering up a tongue-in-cheek assessment of the moment.
Similar, but needs work on his form.Has to be done in one single motion & eyes should never leave the camera. But not bad for his 1st time https://t.co/s49JtyRo3S

Also of note, Trump managed to dodge questions about the allegations against Roy Moore, when reporters tried to press him on the issue after he was finished touting his many accomplishments abroad.
