‘Start Writing That Way’: Biden Snaps At Reporters, Insists On Friendlier Coverage of His Economic Policies

President Joe Biden snapped at reporters at the White House on Wednesday after facing questions regarding his economic policies.
Reporters barged the president with questions regarding inflation and whether or not his policies were doing enough to curb the rising cost of living for Americans. Since Biden took office, the cost of living for food and other essentials, such as gas, has gone up under his watch.
Last month, Biden dropped out of the race after facing pressure from members of his own party. In head-to-head polling with former President Donald Trump, the economy was one of Biden’s weakest issues, according to most voter surveys.
A reporter asked the president if the country is overcoming inflation to which Biden responded the country would have a “soft landing” before demanding the press give his economic policies friendlier coverage.
REPORTER: Inflation numbers! Has the U.S. beat inflation, Mr. President?
BIDEN: Yes, yes, yes! I told you we’re going to have a soft landing…my policies are working. Start writing that way, okay?
