Fox News Host Says Feminism is ‘Not About Women’ It’s ‘Always Been About Abortion and Communism’

Fox News host Rachel Campos Duffy blamed the feminist movement for remaining silent on the violence suffered by Israeli women at the hands of Hamas.

“My beef is with feminism, which, by the way, Sheryl Sandberg is part of it,” Duffy began, continuing:

Feminism has never been about all women. You can see…they didn’t stand up for Christian women in Africa, they didn’t stand up for even women who were standing up against the trans movement. The feminist movement is not about women, it’s always been about abortion and communism. And that’s a fact. So, if you’re looking for Sheryl Sandburg or these Hollywood actresses who are Jewish. If you’re looking for feminism to stand on side of the voiceless and the powerless against violence, well, don’t look to the pro-abortion feminists. It’s not going to happen. It’s not their agenda; it never has been.

Duffy’s comments came during a heated discussion about how an official with UN Women, Sarah E. Hendriks, kept mum on the subject during a recent interview.

“Why is it so difficult to simply condemn unequivocally this massive violence against women? How hard is it? Why are they silent when all it takes is one sentence?” asked Emily Compagno.

“Yeah, she’s asked and she says, ‘Indeed I have a reason. We have independent investigations,'” Kayleigh McEnany said about Hendriks’ interview.

“Don’t give me that BS,” McEnany continued, “because Noah Rothman at National Review laid out all the times you didn’t need an independent investigation, because the facts were clear.” McEnany continued:

Like when Boko Haram took 200 girls in Nigeria, you were clear in condemning that. Like the time the Taliban raped and pillaged. What’d you say then, UN? You had shock and outrage that thew women were being whipped. That was amid the Taliban takeover. What about when Russia invaded Ukraine? You were able to say, ‘Rape, usually gang rape, sexual torture, nudity, and other forms of abuse have been documented by journalists. You didn’t need an independent investigation. You only needed it when it was Jewish women being raped! Why, I ask. Why?
