‘I Liked His Attitude!’ Fox News Host Raves About Trump’s Tirade Outside NY Court
Fox News contributor Tammy Bruce was impressed with former President Donald Trump‘s tirade outside the New York City court hearing his civil fraud case, declaring, “I liked his attitude!”
On Monday’s Outnumbered, Harris Faulkner laid out the scene, saying, “He came out and he waited patiently for all of the reporters to assemble. Someone said, ‘Are you going to speak?’ And he said, ‘Yes, I am,’ and then he did. What did you get out of what he said?” Faulkner asked Bruce.
“I liked his attitude, his tone,” Bruce said. “We know what he’s going to say. We’ve seen this happen before. This is not out of the blue, so we’ve got some background.”
Trump’s comments outside the courthouse included calling Justice Arthur Engoron “a rogue judge,” and saying, “We have a racist attorney general (Letitia James) who’s a horror show.” Trump called himself “a perfect client” for the banks and claimed, “there was no victim here.”
Bruce continued, “New York is a dumpster fire. The city is being destroyed, people’s lives are being destroyed. People can’t afford food…and this is a woman who is accusing Trump of inflating property values. The property values of New York because of its condition, have plummeted, could continue to plummet.”
Bruce then listed off Trump’s New York properties and remarked on “the people that have been employed at all of these places.”
“So, all those people employed, all that money the banks made, all the value of the nature of Trump’s brand in the city…Trump represents an independent spirit, what entrepreneurism can do for you, what being a business person can do for you. And this message is, ‘We’ll not only destroy you and put you in jail; we’re going to take everything you have.'”
Kennedy added, “The former president is certainly leaning into this because this is some of the best campaigning that he has…He also knows that he has to defend himself. He’s got a gag order in another case. And this is one of the few venues he can make his case.
“But every time he goes before the cameras, people are like, ‘Oh, wow! He’s competent and he can speak and he’s forceful, and he’s defending himself. Wouldn’t it be nice if someone defended the United States?'”
Kennedy did offer up one worry: “My only concern is he becomes so angry and obsessed with vengeance, that if he is president again, that that might eclipse the agenda for the betterment of the country.”
