Trump Launches Bizarre Attack on the ‘Ugly Mouth of Letitia James’ While Claiming Mar-a-Lago Is Worth Nearly $2 Billion

Former President Donald Trump continued his attacks on New York Attorney General Letitia James by firing off a strange missive on Friday afternoon.
Last month, Judge Arthur Engoron ordered Trump to pay $354 million – $454 million with interest – in damages after he was found liable in New York civil court for defrauding banks and insurers in a case brought by James’ office. Trump is trying to appeal the judgment, but must post a $454 million bond by Monday to do so. Thus far, he has been able to raise the cash, even after contacting more than 30 underwriters.
Though he owns several potentially lucrative real estate properties, unwinding them would be a lengthy endeavor. On Friday, the parent company of Trump’s Truth Social platform announced a merger and that could net Trump billions of dollars worth of shares, but ones that he cannot sell for six months.
On Friday, Trump re-upped his attacks on James and Engoron on Truth Social, reserving some particularly strange phrasing for the attorney general while misspelling her name:
Arthur Engoron is a Rogue Judge who was intimidated by the big, nasty, and ugly mouth of Leticia James, considered by many to be the WORST Attorney General in the U.S. She is a Low IQ individual who campaigned for Governor, using my name, and got TROUNCED. She and her PUPPET Engoron, who valued Mar-a-Lago at $18,000,000 when it is worth 50 to 100 times that amount, have destroyed all business prospects for New York State, that is already dying, or dead. But have no fear —When I become the 47th President, we will MAKE NEW YORK GREAT AGAIN!
Trump’s claim that his Mar-a-Lago residence and golf resort is worth up to 10 times the $18 million Engoron assessed the property at would put its value $1.8 billion, if accurate.
