‘What a Stupid Question!’ Trump Nukes Reporter Who Asked If He ‘Ruled Out’ Using a Nuclear Weapon on Iran

President Donald Trump went ballistic on a reporter for asking if he was considering using a nuclear weapon on Iran during a Monday press conference at the White House.

NewsNation White House Correspondent Libbey Dean said she had a question to ask Trump about Flock cameras, but first had to ask him whether he had “ruled out” nuking Iran; Trump was so peeved by Dean’s question that she never got the chance to ask her next one.

“I would never say that, but yes, there’s no reason for it. What a stupid question that is, actually,” Trump vented. “Here they are, they’re totally defeated militarily. So now I defeat ’em and now I should use a nuclear weapon on top of ’em? What a stupid question!”

Trump then thanked the assembled reporters and told them to scram. The reporters were inside the Oval Office for a lengthy announcement Trump and other administration officials — including Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Howard Lutnick — made about his push to lower prescription drug prices.

Dean’s question came hours after Trump vowed to hit Iran “hard” in response to it launching missiles at U.S. military bases in Jordan; the U.S. also struck Iran for the first time in weeks on Sunday.

Later in the day, Trump told Fox News he had to launch Operation Epic Fury because Iran was on the verge of obtaining a nuclear weapon and using it against Israel. “We would probably be next,” Trump added.

Trump said in the same interview the American public shouldn’t worry too much about high gas prices because they are going to “go down like a rocket” once the war is “completely” won.

The U.S. has also been ratcheting up its economic sanctions on countries and companies believed to be working with Iran — something Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said on Monday has Iran’s theocratic leaders panicking and “lashing out.”
