The Daily Show Shreds Aaron Rodgers for Considering a VP Run With RFK: ‘We Know Who The Measles Is Voting For This November’

Comedian Michael Kosta joked on a recent episode of The Daily Show that Robert F. Kennedy and Aaron Rodgers on the same ticket would be a win for the measles.

Kennedy’s campaign on Tuesday confirmed that the quarterback of the New York Jets is being considered as a potential running mate. The list of potentials also includes Jesse “The Body Ventura, the WWE superstar who later become the governor of Minnesota.

The internet, predictably, had a field day with the idea of Rodgers trying to lead the Jets to a Super Bowl while also campaigning around the country. Some also joked about the fact that both men are known skeptics of vaccines, with Kennedy even publishing a book attacking former Chief Medical Advisor Dr. Anthony Fauci.

“This would be the greatest president and vice president of all time — is what I’m assuming the measles virus is saying,” Kosta said. “A football player in the White House feels like progress, though. We don’t need any more aging old men with brain problems. We need a strong, young man with brain problems.

“I just don’t know if Aaron Rodgers is qualified to be next in line for the presidency; but I guess we don’t have to worry about that. When has a Kennedy ever died unexpectedly?”
