Hannity Celebrates Trump’s ‘Big Media Takedown’ Where He Called Chuck Todd a ‘Son of a B*tch’
Towards the end of a barnburner of a monologue in which he excitedly touted the recent announcement by Republicans on the House Intelligence Committee that they are ending their Russia probe and will conclude there was no collusion between Trump and Russia, Fox News’ Sean Hannity took a few minutes to celebrate the president’s attacks on the media at Saturday’s campaign rally.
Stating that POTUS “absolutely eviscerated” the “lying liberal mainstream media,” the Fox News host praised Trump for his “big media takedown” since the press has been “trying to utterly destroy” him.
He then played a montage of the president’s insulting the media. And, of course, right there in the middle of the whole thing was the president calling Meet the Press host Chuck Todd “Sleepy Eyes” and a “sleeping son of a bitch.”
After playing the president greatest hits, the conservative commentator continued to applaud Trump for taking it to the “fake news media.”
“Fake news, lying news, propaganda news, misinformation news,” he exclaimed. “It’s all true. The media apoplectic after being called out for the extreme bias.”
He used this as a segue to go after former New York Times editor Jill Abramson for stating that she carries around a little plastic Obama doll to remind her that America once elected a progressive African-American president.
“Really? An Obama comfort doll?” Hannity snarked. “We have to get one to Chris Matthews ASAP. He can get thrills up his leg.”
