Nicolle Wallace Roasts Jeanine Pirro For Praising Flynn Judge Last Week: I’ll Give $500 to Charity For Fox to Replay That Clip

NBC News chief political analyst Nicolle Wallace said she would donate $500 to charity if Fox News used primetime minutes to air a Jeanine Pirro segment in-which the Justice host lobbied a judge involved in Michael Flynn’s case, asking him to show leniency to the former national security advisor.

The segment began with the panel discussing the fringe right-wing media conspiracy that suggests Flynn is innocent, since his crimes were supposedly due to an FBI set up. After two guests went back and forth about Pirro’s involvement in pushing this unfounded theory, Wallace stepped in show viewers the clip of Pirro’s pro-Flynn advocacy work.

“I can’t believe — I have that,” Wallace interjected. “Words you’ve never heard on Deadline: White House, ‘Should we watch Jeanine Pirro?'”

The producers then rolled a clip of of Pirro making the following plea to U.S. District Judge Emmet Sullivan, who is presiding over Flyyn’s sentencing hearing:

“On Tuesdays, the parties will appear again before Judge Emmet Sullivan. A jurist unafraid of the swamp. A judge who has a track record of calling out prosecutorial misconduct. A man who does not tolerate injustice or abuse of power. Judge Sullivan can throw out this guilty plea if he concludes the FBI intentionally interfered with their target, Flynn’s constitutional right to counsel.”

“I will donate $500 to charity if that clip of Jeanine Pirro airs on Fox News in primetime,” Wallace said as soon as the clip ended. “That’s incredible.”
