Trump Doubles Down on Putin Presser Remarks About DNC Server With Tucker Carlson

President Trump‘s interview with Tucker Carlson touched on a number of topics, including the DNC server the President sounded off about during his presser with Vladimir Putin.

Carlson actually brought it up before asking the President about the timing of the indictments.

Trump immediately responded by teeing off on Barack Obama for the Russian meddling happening on his watch. He claimed that Obama believed “it wasn’t a big deal as long as she [Hillary Clinton] won.”

Carlson asked, “Would it be possible for you to direct the Department of Justice, FBI to take possession of the server and have––assuming no government investigator has looked at it, which seems to be the case right now––and get to the bottom of it?”

Trump said “it is possible,” but he emphasized a few times he wants to stay out of getting involved with the DOJ.

He proceeded to go off on all the “crooked things” going on “on the other side.” He referenced “the Pakistani man who left with these three servers, knew everything about [Debbie Wasserman] Schultz” before going back to the DNC server again to say, “The server was never taken by the FBI.”
