Ben Quayle: “Barack Obama Is The Worst President In History”

video

One has to wonder if at some point before 2012 the English language will run out of overstatement and have to start borrowing from German or some other language to achieve the ideal level of hyperbole. In the meantime may we present Ben Quayle, son of former Vice President Dan Quayle, who is running for Congress in Arizona. His campaign vid, in which he unequivocally states that “Barack Obama is the worst president in history,” has been making the Internet rounds today.

Fear not, Ben Quayle — who looks like the progeny of Harold Ford meets Chris Cuomo meets Anthony Weiner meets Chris Kattan — is going to go Washington and knock the hell out of it. His words not mine. Watch below:

I think the “Worst President in History” has already been placed on James Buchanan.

  • Bootleghaircut

what he should have said was not only is the worst he’s already cause Armaggedon twice and at least six katrinas by his reckoning alone!!!!

    Even funnier?

Red state throwing this insipid fool under the bus.

Glynnis? You are in fact a genius….in just a few lines you have answered your own question about “overstatement”….great job! You had me going there for a second….but we all can recognize brilliant satire when we see it….really….brilliant. Satire.

This guy is a joke on a good day.

Wow. What an ass. How about telling us what you’ll DO for Arizona instead of attacking the President out of the gate with outright lies, Ben?

No historian ranks Obama anywhere near the “worst” ever.

They don’t place him as the “best,” either.

And let’s not forget he’s only halfway through his term.

Fail of a commercial, as evidenced by the 7 to 1 dislikes (thumbs down) on You Tube.

  • Ted-

I’m willing to give the guy a pass, He is, after all the son of Dan Quayle.

Like Dumbass father like dumbass son. Obviously too young to remember the George W. Bush Administration. Makes Buchanan look presidential.

    Yea, and it’s hot outside!

What’s the point in stating the OBVIOUS?

You’re right — everyone knows George W. Bush is the worst president in history. Hell, Jimmy Carter send w a hallmark card every week thanking him for making him second worst.

No, I remember it very well. The damage that Bush did cannot really compare to the exacerbation of tensions that led to the Civil War directly caused by both Buchanan’s actions and apathy.

I will agree that Bush did terrible damage, enough, I fear sometimes, to set us on our decline as a world power. But, he isn’t James Buchanan.

Stay tuned – the Bush Effect isn’t finished.

“I was recently on a tour of Latin America, and the only regret I have was that I didn’t study Latin harder in school so I could converse with those people.” – Dan Quayle, 1990.
“Republicans understand the importance of bondage between mother anbd child.” – Dan Quayle, 1989.
“Mars is essentially in the same orbit…Mars is somewhat the same distance from the Sun, which is very important. We have seen pictures where there are canals, we believe, and water. If there is water, that means there is oxygen. If oxygen, that means we can breathe.” – Dan Quayle, 09/11/89.
“The Holocaust was an obscene period in our nation’s history. I mean in this century’s history. But we all lived in this century. I didn’t live in this century.” – Dan Quayle, 09/15/88.

The good ole Repug days!!! Consistency counts!! Yup.

After George W. Bush, except for possibly James Buchanan, Obama is a model President. Just naive to believe he would have any bipartisan report for anything that stops the Gang of Five, Republicans, and others who support corporate interests over the average American. In the Republican party you buy your way to the top on the backs of the special interest groups and those who threaten the very existence of anyone not making over $250,00 a year. If you are not in the upper 2% or a corporation, particularly multinational, you are a fit to Republican vultures.
