Bernie Sanders Berns Donald Trump’s Big RNC Speech to a Crisp on Twitter
While presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton live-tweeted Donald Trump‘s RNC speech and her campaign sent a blizzard of oppo emails Thursday night, Independent Vermont Senator and former Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders got in on the act, too. Sanders invited his social media followers to watch Trump’s speech along with him on Twitter, and right in his own living room:

Bernie then spent Trump’s entire address reminding Democratic voters of his powerful command of social media, tweeting a flurry of criticisms at Trump, all with the message that Bernie Sanders supporters would never vote for Trump:
Those who voted for me will not support Trump who has made bigotry and divisiveness the cornerstone of his campaign. #RNCwithBernie

Trump is wrong. The real cause of instability in the Middle East was the Bush-Cheney invasion of Iraq. By the way, where is President Bush?

Still waiting for a single word about covering the 28 million Americans without health insurance. I guess they don’t matter much to Trump.

Trump’s economic plan: let states lower the federal minimum wage of $7.25 an hour, already a starvation wage.

Trump’s Supreme Court nominees would, like Scalia, oppose a woman’s right to choose, support Citizens United and gut the Voting Rights Act.
