Kelly has been off-the-air at WNYW during the investigation.

In additional reporting by the NY Daily News, Kelly’s criminal defense lawyer, Andrew Lankler, confirmed that prosecutors had dropped the case.

“They are not pressing charges,” he told the newspaper.

Now where does he go to get his reputation restored?

Sorry! You can’t! Welcome to being a male human!

I hope that he sues her for everything that she owns….

He’s in a interesting conundrum.  My guess is that she’s not worth much, if anything at all.  And, presuming he didn’t rape her – and I don’t believe for a second that he did – I’m not sure if there’s much upside to him swearing under oath about his sexual exploits with a recent acquaintance (after hours) at her place of employment.

It’s apparent to anyone who’s even barely paying attention that he didn’t do what she alleges he did.  The smart play might just be to lick your wounds and move on.

     The world needs her name.

sad but true. ” A lie is halfway round the world before truth has even put his boots on”.  Now it would probably be more apt to say “a lie has circled the world thrice and truth’s internet access is down”.

“I twisted her arm until she opened her legs, and she gave a little scream, half joy, half
pain (how do you figure a woman?), as I rammed the old avenger home.”

Of course I am assuming that he did not rape her, as you said it’s apparent that she was not truthful and she has damaged his reputation, he is a news anchor, his public image is his livelihood and she caught in a cheating situation has damaged him in an effort to cover her own misdeeds.

I agree with USS_Republitarian on this one, I don’t think there is really an upside to suing her. Vance’s office will not be pusuing false reporting charges against her, so defamation of character would be his only recourse and he would have to prove that the defamation was made with malicious intent and harmed his reputation. I think putting this behind him would be his best option. As to Pablo’s point, it is just a matter of time before her name is leaked

I’m not exactly a big Fox News Channel advocate, but calling this guy a Fox anchor is quite misleading.  Would you refer to a local anchor of any CBS, ABC, or NBC affiliate the same way?  Probably not.  Libs need to get over their effort with this whole smear campaign against Fox.  Are they conservative?  Yes.  Just like MSNBC is liberal.  Both are simply places for people that enjoy the ignorance of the echo chamber.  (BTW, I’m a conservative watching Lawrence O’Donnell on MSNBC right now)

AMEN, Pablo! What is her name. THE WORLD DESERVES TO KNOW!

BTW, anybody seen Gloria Allred w/ her? Paging Whoria….er, ah, GLORIA!?!?

Why we recommend you the man in military? The reason is simple: They are
not only dependable, but also romantic. They are brave and strong but also warm
in heart. Now it’s a new year, find your strong and warm
    arms for a new beginning at —- uniformedkiss*c’o’m —-

It absolutely sucks. I knew it was BS all along. The sequence of events on that day was just too suspicious.

Hopefully his mom is the mayor’s PR rep or something so he can truly get away with this scott free.

Must be nice to be wealthy, known, and politically connected.

I’m just saying that for the hell of it.

Of course it had nothing to do with the DA’s decision. Anyone else would’ve been treated just the same. Right? Right?

It was leaked last night- Maria di Toro.

I think the man’s reputation is intact.   Anyone who read about this story had to see that fiction was being created.   And to that, Mr. Kelly seems to be a very bright guy who is unlikely at this stage of his life and career to commit rape.   He tries to be an eagle scout and most likely is so it seemed preposterous from the get go.

Women have to be careful about the words they use.   When I was younger, rape convictions were almost impossible to get because judges treated it – as did the law – as one person’s word against the other and women very rarely had their day in court.   Laws changed as did mind sets and today women do get a fair hearing most of the time from the police and prosecutors.   So enough crying wolf will set us all back and I do think the prosecutor rather than Mr. Kelly ought to go after this woman for perjury.

Why were the charges dropped? They neglected that part. . .hmmm. . .nothing to do with who his father is. . .my question is how did he get in this predicament to begin with. . I know the dog ate his homework. .

There seems to be some question about her “abortion” as well. Hmmm…

I hope the lawyer she works for has disinfected his office. Quick, call Coit!
