Rush Limbaugh Agrees With Wisconsin Official: Protesters Are A “Bunch Of Slobs”

Audio

Wisconsin’s Republican State Senator Glenn Grothman last night appeared on MSNBC and called protesters who stayed over night in the Capitol building “slobs.” Rush Limbaugh agreed with the description and was appalled by the “descent into barbarianism” going on amongst the “union thugs.”

Rush, not surprisingly, went a bit further in his description of the “bunch of slobs,” suggesting that despite Democrats and the media wanting the public to think that it is average, hard-working teachers and firefighters protesting, instead it is actually “long-haired, maggot-infested, dope-smoking, FM rock and roller types.” Now that’s a cruel insult, does anyone actually listen to FM radio anymore? Furthermore, Rush put his anger into a much broader context:

“It makes me sick to watch angry, militant, ungrateful state employees with jobs complain that they can’t receive extravagant benefit and pension contributions from people who have no money because they are out of work.”

Surprisingly, that might seem like Rush championing the interests of the unemployed, yet shortly thereafter, Rush returns to some more comfortable territory by railing against bureaucrats who he deemed to be “not a protected species.”

I can’t even image how bad it smells in there!

Having said that, Rush was talking about how alot of these union members, as part of their pensions have financial interest in Kock corporations. Worth a mention, don’t you think! Keep going after the Koch Bro’s libs! You’re just shooting yourselves in the foot!

Rush nails it again. Expect lots of rabis left wing shit throwing and a total lack of substance.

Watch the whole video of the Grothman incident and tell me that it doesn’t look like a scene from “Lord of the Flies!” Then watch the video of the idiot child, a member of the Socialists group, that Beck had on yesterday, saying that his boss was a dictator for FORCING the employees to be at work at a particular time, and forcing them to cook the way he told them to (R’uh r’oh). He wanted the employees to take over the Noodle Company and share the profits. Oh, yea, that would remain profitable for about a minute. Who are these stoners, and when did they take over my country?

The ungrateful youths are from parents that have never taught them to appreciate anything ,always had hand outs and can’t handle a simple job. Probably the union boss son’s and daughters. This is America’s future! God help us!!

  • TeaPartyPatriot

The Republican MAJORITY in the legislature should charge the unions RENT (and a CLEANING FEE) for their deadbeat members living in the capital building by deducting it from the union dues they current collect for them. (That’s works out to being the same as taking money out of the pockets of the lunatic-left d-crat socialists, who ordinarily get these union dues as their bribe/payoff.)

I noticed that the media that was so obsessed with signs and skin color at tea party gatherings, has shown ZERO interest in those issues when the gatherings are organized by the left. This is why the audience has abandoned CNN, CBS, MSNBC, NBC, etc. and embraced Fox.

  • got a grip

It is average tax payers, not evil corporations, that are being asked to foot the bill for those with extravagant deals better than the taxpayers themselves. They got these deals in the first place as a result of conflict of interest “negotiations” between the public employees unions and those they put in office. This wont work in these economic times, and thus is being corrected. Whether you like Rush or not is irrelevant.

  • Texas4Obama

Grothman and Rush don’t know jack.
The Capitol rotunda was cleaned Sunday by the Capitol cleaning crew.
And why is it that the conservatives haven’t given any credit to the protesters that set up the information center which has also coordinated volunteers to do many things such as garbage pick up, recycling, and even cleaning.
The protesters have been very thoughtful and VERY CLEAN.

The GOP needs to STOP attacking middle-class Americans!

The Republicans are going to be quite shocked when they find themselves voted OUT of office in 2012 !!!

What we are seeing in Wisconsin is THE END Of THE REPUBLICAN TEAPARTY :)

“Wisconsin governor Scott Walker’s budget address was delivered beneath a dead and stuffed eagle. His address made commitments to a better educated Wisconsin, even while offering almost guaranteed decreased funding of the state’s schools. He criticized the state’s wasteful use of “our tobacco settlement,” and then minutes later praised, for his “bold new ideas and strong leadership,” former Republican Tommy Thompson—the state’s key architect of that tobacco settlement spending.

He twice passed into reverence for “our state’s constitution,” even while it was being broken two floors below him: the Capitol’s doors were still locked.

One possible reason for why the doors remained locked to Wisconsin citizens nearly six hours after a judge ordered them open soon became clear. The assembly gallery had been packed with ringers.”

On the News a Wisconsin Rep said that if the Unions in Wisconsin continued it would cost every Wisconsin household $1,000 dollars a year.

Yet the bill is asking Union workers to chip in their money to cover their benefits.

Sure, it’s worth a mention. Koch Industries is privately held. Apparently, neither you nor Rush know what that means. Hardly surprising for Limbaugh, who’s made quite a career out of spewing endless BS. I sort of figure that people who post on the internet ought to know how to look up things on the internet, though. Vain hope, that.

The Assembly GALLERY is not the ‘the floor’ where the state democratic assembly were seated.

Rush Limbaugh makes a career out of ripping on media elitists and proves himself to again is himself an elitist dick. You’re not on the taxpayers side and you’re not on the side of the poor. What is happening in Wisconsin with Walker trying to bust the unions has NOTHING to do with the Wisconsin budget.
It is important for ALL of America to pay attention to what is happening and to speak up and to support the Wisconsin protesters.
If you think that what Walker is trying to do is only your state then you have your head in the sand.
The GOP’s plan is to bust the unions in ALL the states.
And who are you calling a racist? I am not a racist and I did NOT say anything even close that could be taken as racist. Perhaps you should work on your reading comprehension skills :)

Here’s the distinguished Sen. Grothman, per Wiki:

    Political positions

In 2010, Glenn Grothman opposed a bill mandating comprehensive sex education. In an interview with The Capital Times, he said “Would you want your daughter’s teacher in 7th grade talking with her about homosexuality? They should be talking about Algebra.” He also stated that “Did people even know what homosexuality was in high school in 1975? Homosexuality was not on anybody’s radar. And that’s a good thing.”[3] Grothman also opposes the “Head Start” program, a four-year-old kindergarten program that offers early education for Wisconsin children.[4]

Senator Grothman opposed a bill that would increase anti-smoking programs from $10 to $30 million. Grothman believes that anti-smoking campaigns do not work, and furthermore, that they are not necessary since “Everybody knows you’re not supposed to smoke.” This follows his history of supporting fiscal conservatism.[5] However, Grothman did vote against the indoor smoking ban passed in July 2010.[6]
The Senator has also argued that workers should not have Martin Luther King Jr. day as a work holiday, calling the day off “an insult to all the other taxpayers around the state” and that “he doubts state workers would be ‘checking out DVDs or reading books’ about King and would probably just be out shopping or watching television instead.”[7]

An advocate of 2nd amendment rights, the Senator is a long-time supporter of concealed carry legislation. He supports concealed-carry laws because it would deter criminal behavior. Concealed carry permits, he argues would be awarded to law-abiding citizens who pass a firearm safety course. He does not advocate allowing concealed weapons in taverns.[8]

Grothman released a statement opposing Kwanzaa. A report on his website argues that the “holiday is being given undeserved respect and attention” and that we “should treat Kwanzaa with the contempt it deserves before it becomes a permanent part of our culture.”[9]

Although Wisconsin suffered from a Cryptosporidium outbreak in 1993, when at least 104 citizens of Milwaukee died from unclean water,[10] the Senator has introduced and supported Senate Bill 19, which removes the mandatory disinfection of municipal water systems.[11]

Are we sure this guy isn’t really from South Carolina?

As well they should. No government employee should have the unfair advantage to unionize for special privileges over taxpayers who are defenseless to enter into the “bargaining” process. It’s no different that private sector employers banding together to exclude paying benefits of wages over minimum wage, with employees barred from the discussion.

Unions should only be allowed in the private sector where BOTH parties, labor and PAYERS can be involved in the discussion. That’s called “equality.”

  • dsriley

Why does this anti social drug addict have such a large audience. Are there that many people in this Country who are raging lunatics?

This guy didn’t even finish High School or go to College. His father was a Judge and his brothers became lawyers. I think his father thought he was a big disappointment to him and ‘RUSH” was going to show him. So he tooks his rage and went Public with it and made his fortune from his anger. Almost every person who becomes an Alcoholic and drug addict has issues from their childhood. Do you think Rush Limbaugh is any different than Charlie Sheen? You hear the same kind of crap coming out of his mouth every single day and people think he’s great.. There both “Dry Drunks” But I’m sure that Rush Limbaugh still drinks because he only thinks he was a drug addict and its okay to drink like many addicts believe. That’s why they never get well mentally.

Rush Limbaugh went to rehab and stopped (allegedly) using drugs. He still needs to deal with the issues that drove him to addiction. He would never do it because he has built out career of his rage..

We needed to hear from Rush to know that there are slobs over there? Don’t get me wrong, I know there are good working people over there fighting for what they believe is right. But most of them are back at work. In demonstrations like this, the “professional” left wing protesters show up and do their thing.

These people are truly miserable, antagonistic trouble making…….., yes, slobs is the perfect word. “Irrelevant, antagonistic noise making filthy scumbags” Rush could have also said and he would have been right. How do I know? I am speaking from personal experience.

    You are misinformed.
In 2008, in Texas, Obama won just about every largest city/county: Austin/Travis, Dallas, Houston/Harris, El Paso, San Antonio etc. (except for Ft.Worth which McCain won). It was NOT illegal aliens that voted for Obama.
Texas is now more ‘purple’ than it is red. And Texas isn’t as conservative as it was even a decade ago.
For example, Houston now has an openly gay female mayor.
