Woman Charged With Having Sex With Teens Hilariously Dubbed ‘Hummer Mom’ By Media

Christine Hubbs is a 42-year-old mother who is alleged to have had long-term sexual relationship with two teenage boys in her Bay Area town of Livermore, California. As her story breaks nationally, the media have delighted in reporting salacious details, especially the moniker by which she’s been called in local reports: “Hummer Mom!” And no, the reasoning behind that name might not be what you think.

The encounters allegedly involved gifts and sex in her black Hummer and various hotel rooms. Because the details of this story are both sad and salacious, its bound to break nationally. Writing for the Crimesider blog for CBS News, Edecio Martinez reports:

Hubbs, of suburban Livermore, Calif. remained jailed on $4.3 million bail following a brief court appearance Monday. She’s facing 67 counts.

The mother of three was arrested Thursday following an investigation that began July 27 when the mother of one of the alleged victims said she found a nude photo of Hubbs on her son’s cell phone, said Livermore police Lt. Matt Sarsfield.

A police affidavit from the case alleges that Hubbs made advances on one of the boys when he was 14 and dating her daughter.

Authorities say that relationship lasted from December 2008 to January of this year.

Police said while they were investigating, they interviewed another boy who said he was also having sex with Hubbs. That boy, who is now 14 years old, told police he had a sexual relationship with Hubbs from December 2009 through July.

Hubbs is charged with 67 charges of sexual set and is being held on more than $4 million bail.

As they say about age, 16 goes into 60 better than 60 goes into 16. She appears to have wanted high testosterone youth who love to give, give, give. There is a possibility she has a tumor on her thyroid that is causing some type of nymphomania. As a male, I can’t understand the taboo on young men getting their jollies as they can. Age runs quickly and so does sexual interest and arousal.

However, she is NOT a he and the kids were boys. Whether you care to admit it or not there is a difference in this society about boys and girls sexuality. Fair? No. True? Sure.

c’mon, people…. anyone reading this must surely realize that the use of “hilariously” in the title is referring to the very un-wise nickname the local media gave to the story.

“Hummer Mom”??? You do know that a “hummer” is slang for a sexual act, and the term has been around for over 20 years, if not much more? How old and out of touch are these editors? Unless they chose the wording on purpose and with full knowledge, who know it could sell some papers!

Reminds me of an ad campaign for snack food Corn Nuts a while back which encouraged teenagers to “just bust a nut!”
