If I didn’t know from this that he had major food aversions, I would have predicted that he was ‘picky’.   But there is picky and then there is PICKY and he’s got the palate of a six year old which is sort of stunning, given his level of salary and thus the ability to eat really, really well.

As a mother, my first reaction to this is that this is what happens when you bow to a kid’s pickiness and don’t try to work with it.

Hope that he continues to let people show him the ropes. Not knowing food is like not knowing how to read.  There is a whole world out there and he’s missing all of it, let alone probably hurting his health in the long run.
