CNN’s Navarro: Trump Acting Like an ‘Infantile Five-Year-Old’ After Losing Colorado
Republican strategist and CNN contributor Ana Navarro ripped into Donald Trump for complaining that the Colorado primary system was rigged, when in reality, she claimed, Trump just didn’t care enough to figure out the rules.
Republican strategist and CNN contributor Ana Navarro ripped into Donald Trump for complaining that the Colorado primary system was rigged, when in reality, she claimed, Trump just didn’t care enough to figure out the rules.
“I come from Nicaragua. I fought a communist revolution,” she said. “I live in Miami, 90 miles away from another communist revolution that lasted 56 years. This is a democracy.”
“Every single state party gets to make its rules the way they want to,” she continued. “Some have early primaries, some have them later. Some have caucuses, some have conventions. Some have open primaries, some have closed primaries. It is all about knowing what the rules of that particular state are.”

Navarro said that if you had just gotten pregnant when the rules for Colorado were set, you’d have a baby by now. “He had eight long months to figure out how to do it and what to do. He just didn’t put the resources into it.”
“It is a complicated process, it is a legalistic process, but it is our process. It is called democracy,” she said. “Live with it. Stop being an infantile 5-year-old saying when you don’t win, the rules don’t work, when you do win, lo and behold, the rules do work.”
