Ed Schultz: Either Fox’s Roger Ailes Has No Control Or “He’s Flat Out Lying”

Video

Today on MSNBC, Ed Schultz was fired up because he believed Fox’s heavy hitters Bill O’Reilly, Glenn Beck and Sean Hannity took to the airwaves last night and didn’t change their tone despite a warning from Fox News president Roger Ailes to “tone it down.” Schultz played fiery clips from all three Fox stars and commented “nice job of toning it down.”

Schultz seemed most angry with O’Reilly for his segment that directly criticized MSNBC, and concluded “either Ailes has no control over his air talent or he’s flat out lying.” His nice words about Ailes didn’t end there as Schultz claimed “Roger Ailes is nothing more than a propaganda master of Fox, who wants to defeat President Obama. He doesn’t have a clue about toning it down, he can’t.” Although since Schultz isn’t fond of many Republicans it’s debatable whether he is capable of toning it down either.

Given that, in Schultz’s opinion, Fox “has been on a full-scale attack against the truth for years,” he personally vowed to “never back down from fighting for middle class Americans who are getting screwed” and to never tone down his passion for defending liberal positions. With neither Schultz nor Fox hosts noticeably toning it down, it certainly still makes for interesting television.

How DARE O’Reilly talk about MSNBC! MSNBC would NEVER talk about FNC in anything but a polite and respectful way!

  • The Real Royal King

History teaches us it’s the latter, but I’m still giving Ailes the benefit of the doubt.

And by toning it down Ed means that they will take the left’s accusations of them be accomplices to murder and like them! Take your faux outrage and shove it Mr. Ed!

Ed Schultz = part of the problem

Go fix your son a hot dinner for a change and then schedule a massage. For yourself. You need one. Terribly. You’ve been howling at the moon for days now. Gargle, as well. Bourbon and lemon juice.

Apparently the owner of MSNBC has no control over the idiots over at MSNBC.

If MSNBC didn’t have FNC….they would go out of business, but if FNC never ONCE mention MSNBC, no one would notice.

Seriously, out of all of the outright crazy libs on the air, if I had to pick one guy that is guaranteed to go postal one day, it’s Sergeant Schultz.

  • ChrisNH

Again, I absolutely LOVE how utterly enraged Lib media hacks are at FNC now, especially since none of their saber-rattling & pot-banging will do any good. Yes, Libs…do try rolling out that ‘Fairness Doctrine’ now that you’ve decided that creating ‘Jobs, jobs’ jobs’ is something you (A) can’t do and (B) have no interest in doing.

The MSNBC obsession with Fox News never ends. The network that never reports on Afghanistan casualties (now at a record high) covers Roger Ailes every little move. Face it, MSNBC isn’t a news network: it runs on envy of its more successful competitor, and gave up journalism long ago.

I think I lean just a tad towards KO.

I got this picture in my mind when he whipped out his framed diploma that it was going to something else he was going to slap on the desk. It ssemed such a natural for him I think that might one day be his swan song.

  • Seeing 2012 From My Window

It will definately we a tight race to watch Grammie! The two of them are definately certifiable and don’t have a strong grip on reality.

Isn’t funny how RRK tried to sound reasonable and then he attacked you. LOL. The guy is mental.

Ed Schultz is becoming so pathetic when he tries to get some atention. If only he was a good showman…but he is so….so…so…MSNBC! Poor …rich guy!

  • Nacho

Ed Schultz is too over the top and I can’t watch him, but he is right about Ailes.

  • Tucker P.

Can’t watch Ed , Wat he say ? lol

  • tatboy

Mr. Ed is quite simply not a good person. Must be the product of a poor upbringing.

  • dhg

Watching someone like this dickhead squawking about tone is like watching Jeffrey Dahmer telling you cannibalism is bad…

Ed,who has had several episodes of overloaded tone, should shut his mouth.

What can I say, the man (and i use the term very loosely) is obsessed with me!

Good God, Fat Edith Schultz has totally lost it. I watched the first few minutes of his typical angry diatribe of hate and lies before I had to go puke. This fat ass blow hard is not to believed. The big mouth tells more fibs, out and out lies and half-truths than anyone on TV. The redheaded beach ball brings a photo of his family on a Pheasant hunt and puts it in front of the camera??? This guy is a total nut job. of immense proportions. I swear, we are going to watch this out of control mouthpiece explode one day and it won’t be pretty. The good news is Mark Levin blasted this fat ass talking head tonight like shooting a shark in a 55 gallon drum. It was funny listening to Mark bitch slap Chrissy Matthews, Edith Schultz and Keithy Oldman tonight. Too damn funny!

  • musiccityvic

MSNBC….Spend all night with their 45 viewers talking about what the other network is talking about….I wonder why they get clobbered continually in the ratings…

Also, typical liberal tantrum…How dare you talk about us and expose our statements as fraud! We are the lunatic left and have ruled the airwaves since the 60′s without dissent…Welcome to the new world loons.

  • Rescuedog

I saw Ed’s rant earlier today. It was the desperate of someone who knows he’s already lost the argument.

  • rocky road

Ed tried to bring a shotgun to the studio tonight but found out it was against NYC law to have a firearm. Can you imagine the riot at 30 Rock seeing Schultz walking around with a shotgun?

  • murf

If the sun ever dies out , lets hope Sgt Schultz is still around , we will need the heat .

  • Tribunal

“Today on MSNBC, Ed Schultz was fired”

What a great sentence, you should have stopped there. :)

No. Beckerhead, hands down. Then, Schultz. Olbermann is a distant 4th or 5th.

  • Probably NOT wrong

My first thought when Lougherons mug shot popped up
    on TV yesterday.

Holy Shit. Fat ED has shaved his damn head.

My bet is Fat EDDIE will go postal first.
And it don’t look to be that far in the future.

  • greg454

Why should Fox tone it down? The lunatic was a lefty, if anything it was probably MSNBC that incited him.

The King of Donuts is quickly becoming the King of Crazy on MSNBC, who would thought he would take the crown from Olbermann.

  • Truth Detective

Fat Ed runs his mouth nearly as much as he runs to the bathroom. This guy spews lies & hate daily, yet MSNBC does nothing to reign him in. Says a lot about GE and what they are all about.

Shultz, Matthews, Olbermann, O’Donnell, and Maddow are the left’s great propaganda and hate machine.

  • hmm

We’re all clear about who the real Roger Ailes is. Bill said it best, straight from his horse’s mouth:

“Defendant Bill O‘Reilly further sternly warned to the effect: ‘If you cross Fox News Channel, it‘s not just me, it‘s Fox News President Roger Ailes who will go after you.”

Just Go Away Ed….Leave…go quietly in the night!

  • CAconservative

The problem with your issue here is, most of us new-junkies watched the news shows you took your clips from. Meaning…we weren’t watching MSNBC! About the only time I see Schultz is on Mediaite.

  • D REX

the Fact that we are writing about Ed simply points out that we DO know who he is and WE do listen-Like RUSH LIMPBALLS- Ed is controversial and points out the inadequecys of the right, you know-like Rush Limpballs wishes he could with the left. The right has LIMPBAUGH the left ED……………go Ed

  • X-3

    Ed is a funny guy.

  • X-3

Unlike Ed’s boss, Mr. Ailes is enjoying the astronomical success of his entrepreneurship as he sees his vision of fair and balanced reporting of the news has made Fox News number one in the cable market for the past decade.
