This incident (that happened *** 12 *** years ago) and Cain’s current governing ability and economic proposals are independent of one another. 
If Cain did commit harassment, he should be ashamed of himself. But to rule out a candidate because of unproven claims that happened so long ago is baffling. 

The whole point is that Clinton allegedly sexually harassed his staffer Paula Jones in 1991, prior to being elected president, but is considered to have been a great president by so many liberals.

So, Clinton sexually harrassed someone and then went on to be a good president. Whereas:
Cain (might have) sexually harrassed someone, and now all of you liberals are saying that he does not deserve to be president. 
Like I have said before, sexual harassment incidents and one’s governing abilities are INDEPENDENT OF ONE ANOTHER. Sexual harassment is a lot more common (unfortunately) in the workplace then you may believe, but one mistake made by an individual does not and should not overshadow their work ethic and policy making.

Mr. Cain WAS NOT a party to the “settlement” offer to the woman (women?) – BECAUSE he was NO LONGER WORKING for the National Restaurant Association when the “settlement” agreement was entered into (between the National Restaurant Association and the woman [women?])!

It is ALSO my understanding that the “settlement” was, in point of FACT, SEVERENCE PAY (because the woman LEFT the employment of the NRA) – ODDLY, AFTER Mr. Cain was NO LONGER WORKING THERE (which begs the question:  WHY did they feel the need to LEAVE, if Mr. Cain was NO LONGER THERE?)!

First of all, Cain wouldn’t have been CEO of anything in the 1950s and 60s. That’s like movies, made today, that show integrated troops during WWII. That is something that just didn’t exist. He certainly wouldn’t have had white subordinates, kind of a prerquisite for lynching, definitely no females. African-American men don’t get lynched for harassing African-American women. That’s one thing on Cain’s side, we have yet to see the race of the women, which, I think, would impact the impression of conservatives.

Secondly, there was no such thing as sexual harassment in those days and woman were routinely subjected to salacious behavior. According to one of his sons, FDR, had an affair with his long time secretary, Missy Lehand. That would be unacceptable today.

Yes, Cain is being accused of something, but damned if anybody can say what it is. How can you make an accusation without going into the specifics? That makes no sense and only serves to destroy one’s reputation the way this is doing.

If they’re going to make accusations they have no right to hide behind anonymity. You couldn’t do that in a court of law and get away with it. Isn’t the right to confront one’s accuser in the Constitution? Sorry if my heart doesn’t bleed for those poor women.

News flash to Goldie Taylor”  It’s 2011, not 1950.  And nobody knows what is actually alleged except the parties involved.  It’s not like rape accusations lodged against President Clinton by Juanita Broaddrick, where there were details and an accuser facing the press. 

Once again, this woman’s self hatred for her negroid background shines through, and she wrongly takes the side of those who would lynch an honest man based on baseless allegations which were investigated by the NRA and settled as ‘nuisance’ complaints are usually handled: by giving the accuser what she wants: $$cash$$.  Ms. Taylor fails to recognize these modern day Mayella Ewells for what they are:  gold-diggers in search for a larger pay off than the original, because the opportunity now is much more profitable. 
People like Goldie Taylor are a disgrace to blacks and to those who, like the Rev.
