Sarah Palin Tells Obama To ‘Stop Lecturing, Start Listening’

video

Sarah Palin spoke tonight at the national Tea Party Convention and had some predictably harsh words for the White House. “I will live, I will die for the people of America. Whatever I can do to help. This movement is the future of politics in America,” said Palin, before giving stick to President Obama.

I defecate on your movement and your values Sarah Palin.

    she’s good at delivering zingers!

  • roxsteady

That’s because she’s written notes on her hands. Her Q&A is all over youtube as well. Check this out. It’s all over the lefty blogs. Hilarious!

And to think, she mocked the President for using a teleprompter but, he didn’t need one for his Q&A when he planted the House GOP! She really is the gift that keeps on giving!

I don’t think writing down your three key points, that you don’t want to forget, is a crime.
Energy, tax cuts, lifting the American spirit.
She wanted to make sure she touched on her three key topics. So?
No different then writing them on a notecard, which she probably didn’t have available. It’s not like she was trying to hide the notes, she was waving her arms all over the place.
The only thing wrong with it is now the Left has a weapon to attack her with, allowing them to ignore all the points she made.

Obama has been in office for a year, and talks this stuff every single day – he shouldn’t need TOTUS to talk to the GOP. he shouldn’t need one to give a five minute speech either, but he uses it.

Everyone mocks Obama for his dependency on the teleprompter. Well, except for his most loyal defenders.

It is absolutely a riot to watch the left go berserk on “handgate”! They will do anything to ignore the substance of her speech last night. She knocked it out of the park last night and again on FNS this morning. That is why the left is inventing “handgate”. As an individual who does a lot of presentations and Q&A, I frequently keep notes with me and refer to them, including key phrases and important points I need to make.

I personally enjoyed watching a speech last night that was not like watching someone who was watching a tennis match. Good job Sarah — they are attacking you — that means you won, they lost.

TfT – The real riot is the video of Palin looking to her hands for answers. About ignoring the substance of her speech…what, are you kidding?

By the way, you seem to be attacking the left, so I can assume you believe the left has won…and the far right has lost?

  • TfT

Ted, What answer was on her hand?

Well, it’s nice that the Tea-Partiers have finally admitted that they’re pretty much GOP Junior. Now I only wish they’d stop ruining the word “libertarian”.

  • TfT

Yes, Blueblueblogger: But I repeat my question:

WHAT ANSWER DID SHE HAVE WRITTEN ON HER HAND? The answer is clearly NONE. She had some key points she wanted to make sure she made. Much like Arienna had her blue note cards on her lap this morning while appearing on Reliable Sources, she wanted to make key points so she had them with her to answer the questions from Howie.

    No gate here except mediahypergate.

  • tjl

TfT – I think it’s funny that you think there was any substance in her speech. That’s a riot! What the media really missed were the words written on here left hand: “you betcha” “wink” “breathe every 3 seconds” “I can’t believe these people are paying me for this”

  • tjl

…and, I’ll admit, it’s pretty funny that I watch tv like a child and thing that her left is my right… now, where were we…

  • writer

Chris Matthews uses his hands when watching Obama. Of course, he needs Kleenex afterwards.

  • tjl

    Yawn

The funny thing is, this “outrage” is all for the Choir here, so to speak. Her followers and the vast majority of people with jobs, lives, kids, meetings, resposibilities, etc couldn’t give a flying fark if she had 3 points written on her hand, a 3×5 card, or on the heel of her shoe. It makes for great Sarah bashing here, but in the big picture? Not that big a deal kids.

The response President Obama gave to Wolfe Blitzer regarding Governor Perry’s ill-advised statements were actually pretty gentle. Wolge Blitzer told President Obama about Governor Perry saying that the fed might be a traitor and Governor Perry basically also said that if the fed goes to Texas Governor Perry, and some outlaw posse, would beat the fed up. Give me a break! You can’t make this stuff up.

Governor Perry also indicated that our soldiers might not have respect for the commander-in-chief – President Obama. It’s a very bad idea for anyone in authority, such as a governor, to say anything that could possibly get the troops to think about disrespecting the President. The President is the commander-in-chief and the President needs the respect of our soldiers, and for Governor Perry to come onto the national stage and immediately start saying things that could undermine our soldier’s respect for the office of the President is a very inappropriate thing for Governor Perry to do. It’s irresponsible, unwise, and dangerous. We don’t want the troops questioning, and wondering, whether or not they respect the commander-in-chief. Keep in mind that if Governor Perry is correct and the troops respect military presidents more then especially because Obama has never been in the military if may be harder for President Obama to maintain the soldier’s respect. Hence, Governor Perry should not be saying anything that could possibly soften the soldier’s respect for the commander-in-chief. Given this reality it does makes sense that Obama would scold Governor Perry for saying something that could possibly cause our soldiers to have less respect for the commander-in-chief. Remember that a lot of the troops come from Texas, and the south in general, so many of our troops respect and admire Governor Perry. This means that a lot of our soldiers care what Governor Perry says so it was very irresponsible for Rick Perry to say something that could possibly undermine the respect that soldiers have for the commander-in-chief. Our soldiers are no doubt very respectful of President Obama because he made the gutsy call to enter Pakistan and capture Osams Bin laden. However Governor Perry may have caused a lot of the troops, especially southern troops, wondering if they really respect Obama. It’s not a good thing to have the troops wondering whether or not they should, and do, respect the commander-in-chief, especially in a time of war. I think that Governor’s Perry’s comments about the troops respecting President Obama were totally inappropriate and could actually cause the troops to question their respect for the President despite the troop-respect he earned by capturing Osama Bin Laden.

In a nutshell, Governor’s Perry’s statements questioning the troop’s respect for President Obama were potentially harmful to our country but what else should we expect from a secessionist like Governor Perry who really wants to leave the country so he can’t care much about our country. Rick Perry’s statements about the troops not respecting the President were treacherour, er, I mean treasonous because those statements could hurt our country.

Really, the title of your article should have said “Sessionist Rick Perry tries to get America’s troops to think about disrespecting President Obama because Rick Perry doesn’t like America.”
