Most of The Justin Bieber/Selena Gomez Instagram Feud is Photoshopped

Justin Beiber/Selena Gomez shippers can calm down now; it’s really not that bad. Most of the Instagram spat that everyone is sharing isn’t actually real.

In case you haven’t seen, over the weekend, Bieber posted five selfies in a row with his new girlfriend Sofia Richie. Apparently he got a lot of hate in the comments, so he posted a sixth selfie with the caption, ““I’m gonna make my Instagram private if you guys don’t stop the hate this is getting out of hand, if you guys are really fans you wouldn’t be so mean to people that I like.”

Gomez commented on his photo, “If you can’t handle the hate then stop posting pictures of your girlfriend lol -it should be special between you two only. Don’t be mad at your fans. They love you. They were there for you before anyone.”

That’s where it ended. But this is the Internet, and there needs to be more drama, so people took it upon themselves to photoshop a fight between the two stars. Fortunately our cousin site Gossip Cop was able to exclusively report that the below feud is completely made up:

Beneath that, there is a fake comment from Gomez saying “Funny how the ones that cheated multiple times, are pointing the finger at the ones that were forgiving and supportive, no wonder fans are mad. Sad. All love.” Bieber supposedly responded “I cheated.. oh I forgot about You and Zayn?”

The whole thing got the Twitter hashtag #SelenaEndedJustinParty trending. In reality, it was just one little mostly harmless comment. She did post her own photo to Instagram shortly after writing on Bieber’s post as a tribute to her fans, which was possibly directed at him. But everyone really needs to calm down. At this point, it’s definitely not a major thing.

My whole life. You matter most. Thank you for letting me do what I love every day.
