WATCH: SNL Goes After Morgan Wallen Following His Frosty Turn as Show’s Musical Guest

The joke was met with uproarious laughter from the SNL audience. And their reaction was similar later in the show as Weekend Update anchor Colin Jost called out Wallen’s swift exit from the stage.

“Just in the past two days, investors have lost over $6 trillion,” Jost said. “Money is leaving the stock market faster than Morgan Wallen at goodnights.”

Wallen’s controversial history with SNL dates back to October 2020 — when the show pulled the plug on his scheduled appearance when videos surfaced showing him violating SNL’s Covid protocols.
