Sean Spicer Warns Trump That MAGA Wants ‘Blood’ After ‘Treasonous Conspiracy’ Allegation: ‘You Think Epstein Was Bad?’
Former White House press secretary Sean Spicer warned that the MAGA movement is out for blood on Friday’s edition of his 2WAY show — and President Donald Trump may pay the price if he doesn’t deliver.
“I think that the problem that exists on my side right now is there’s a lot of people who are saying, ‘Don’t get us excited if you’re not going to do this,'” commented Spicer about the Trump administration’s allegations that former President Barack Obama and other senior members of his administration were part of a “treasonous conspiracy” against Trump.
“And so I’m, you can tell, very fired up about this issue. It’s very personal, and I want revenge. So you know what, if these guys keep pumping out this stuff and declassifying things and don’t go anywhere, you think Epstein was bad, you’re going to piss off a lot of people if they don’t act. So I think they’re creating the impression that things will happen, and there better be some kind of follow-up,” continued Spicer. “People who dealt with this issue are a hell of a lot more vocal than they are on Epstein. And I think you’re getting a lot of people’s hopes up. So I don’t know yet, but I feel like they’ve started to create the expectation that there will be something and people want [that].”
After Mark Halperin asked Dan Turrentine if the current administration will indict members of Obama’s administration, the latter answered, “It depends on how desperate they are to fire their base up. If they need to, they’ll turn the dial to eleven.”
“And this is the point, the base is fired up now,” declared Spicer. “And so they didn’t need to dial, now it’s there and you’re going, you know, don’t pull the rug out from under us again and say, ‘Oh, well now we can’t do anything.’ You’ve gotten us pissed off and fired up, so now act.”
