‘So Typical’: Ann Coulter Disgusted by Trump, MAGA World’s Reaction to Rob Reiner Murder

Count Ann Coulter among the conservatives appalled by President Donald Trump’s reaction to the murder of Hollywood legend Rob Reiner and his wife, Michele Singer Reiner.

On Monday, fewer than 24 hours after Reiner’s death, Trump fired off the following message on Truth Social:

A very sad thing happened last night in Hollywood. Rob Reiner, a tortured and struggling, but once very talented movie director and comedy star, has passed away, together with his wife, Michele, reportedly due to the anger he caused others through his massive, unyielding, and incurable affliction with a mind crippling disease known as TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME, sometimes referred to as TDS. He was known to have driven people CRAZY by his raging obsession of President Donald J. Trump, with his obvious paranoia reaching new heights as the Trump Administration surpassed all goals and expectations of greatness, and with the Golden Age of America upon us, perhaps like never before. May Rob and Michele rest in peace!

A wide variety of voices — including Fox News talent and other conservatives — condemned Trump for his comments. Coulter, the author of In Trump We Trust: E Pluribus Awesome!, joined the fray on Tuesday.

In addition to retweeting a post from Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) calling Trump’s comments “inappropriate and disrespectful,” Coulter quote-tweeted a post from Sage Steele musing that the president’s words were “so disrespectful” as well as “so unnecessary,” adding that they they were also “unfortunately, so typical.”

After one user pointed out that Reiner had criticized conservative commentator Rush Limbaugh after his death, Coulter fired back by noting that “Rush died peacefully of natural causes. He wasn’t stabbed to death.”

And finally, she argued that “Most of the replies” to Steele’s post were “indistinguishable from liberals justifying the hate after Charlie Kirk was murdered.”
