‘Yes Daddy! Spank Me Harder!’ Rick Wilson Kink-Shames Republicans for Letting Trump and Musk Run Wild
Never Trump activist and former Republican strategist Rick Wilson mocked Republicans who are letting President Donald Trump and DOGE czar Elon Musk run wild, crying “Yes please, Daddy! Spank me harder!” during an appearance on Jim Acosta’s show Tuesday.
Wilson — who runs the anti-Trump Lincoln Project — and MSNBC analyst Molly Jong-Fast were guests on Tuesday’s edition of the Substack video podcast The Jim Acosta Show, during which Acosta asked about Trump allowing Musk to access sensitive government systems.
He asked Wilson if this should “irritate the living hell out of any tried and true conservative.”
Wilson responded with cruel sexual innuendo:
JIM ACOSTA: And Rick, I mean, the question I wanted to ask you, because you were a well-known Republican strategist for many years.
I thought this was the sort of thing that would irritate the living hell out of any tried and true conservative. This idea that your your data with the government could be susceptible to being, you know, vacuumed up by various nefarious folks inside the government, all run by a tech billionaire.
I mean, that just sounds like something that would make the National Review explode on your coffee table.
RICK WILSON: I can remember back in the day of Obamacare, Republicans were saying, do you want Barack Obama and George Soros to have access to your medical records?
And and it led to Republicans losing their minds over and over and over and over again.
And now it’s like, “Yes please, Daddy! Spank me harder! ”
(LAUGHTER)
They don’t care about the things they cared about at one point. And this idea that they’re going to take away your ability to protect the confidentiality of your Social Security records, your tax records, I mean, Elon’s people are trying to get into the IRS as we speak, to take control of the IRS database that controls audits, collections and and taxes of every taxpayer.
They want to invest–. I can’t wait for the delight those delighted cries on Wall Street when Elian must call for a round of funding for something and says, “Hey, I know you’re actually worth this amount.”.
JIM ACOSTA: Yeah.
RICK WILSON: Or calls a the member of Congress says, how did you get to be worth $20 million? Congressman, I’m going through your tax files right now. Right.
JIM ACOSTA: And the irony of that is that Donald Trump has not paid his fair share in taxes for years. He has claimed so many times that he’s under audit and so on.
MOLLY JONG FAST: Right.
JIM ACOSTA: But now we’re going to have Elon Musk, you know, getting your IRS information. I mean, you just can’t– it’s just boggles the mind.
RICK WILSON: You can’t make it up. You can’t make it up.
