James Carville Fantasizes About Trump ‘Collaborators’ Being ‘Shaved, Dressed in Orange Pajamas, and Spit on’ by Public After 2028
James Carville revealed his “fantasy” of having “collaborators” of President Donald Trump publicly shamed and spat on after the Republican leaves office.
Carville detailed his “dream” during his Politics War Room podcast on Wednesday while he and co-host Al Hunt accused the administration of trying to “control” higher education with an offer for preferential funding for colleges. Seven of nine universities offered more federal money if they agree to various Trump policies, including pledging to shut down “institutional units that purposefully punish, belittle and even spark violence against conservative ideas,” have turned down the proposal.
Carville argued that agreeing to the Trump proposal is “short-sighted” and makes schools “collaborators” of the president.
He said:
You know what we do with collaborators? I think these corporations — my fantasy dream is that this nightmare ends in 2029, and I think we ought to have radical things — I think they all ought to have their heads shaven, they should be put in orange pajamas, and they should be marched down Pennsylvania Avenue, and the public should be invited to spit on them. The universities, the corporations, the law forms, all of these collaborators should be shaved, pajamaed, and spit on.
“Disney and Paramount?” Hunt responded, referring to Paramount’s $16 million settlement with Trump ,and Disney (which owns ABC) briefly suspending comedian Jimmy Kimmel after a public warning from FCC Chair Brendan Carr.
“Yeah, I don’t disagree,” he added.
Carville blasted people who “unnecessarily” bend the knee to the “criminal tyrant” Trump, arguing a public shaming is needed to “discourage” future “collaborators.”
“Bullies,” Hunt added, always want “more” and corporations and law firms agreeing to Trump demands have not seen the “end” of it.
“The idea is you have to pay more because you did this because it’s the only way that you’re going to discourage future collaborators in the United States,” Carville said.
