Megyn Kelly Says She Has ‘Zero Tolerance’ For Seth MacFarlane Trashing Fox News After He Made Millions Off Fox
Megyn Kelly ripped Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane on Friday for trashing Fox News despite making millions from his own show that airs on Fox Broadcasting, which is owned by Fox Corporation, which owns Fox News.
On Sunday, MacFarlane posted on Twitter that he wishes Family Guy were on a network other than Fox.
“Tucker Carlson’s latest opinion piece once again makes me wish Family Guy was on any other network. Look, Fox, we both know this marriage isn’t working anymore. The sex is only once a year, I don’t get along with your mother, and well… I’ve been having an affair with NBC,” he tweeted.

Last year, NBCUniversal offered MacFarlane a $200 million deal to work on new shows, which he accepted while he has continued to work on Family Guy.
Kelly, a former Fox News anchor, slammed the tweet during her podcast, The Megyn Kelly Show.
“I have no tolerance for that,” she said. “The same way I have no tolerance for James Murdoch running around, besmirching Fox News.”
“You can’t make your gazillions off of the entity and then once you have them say they’re disgusting, I am horrified,” continued Kelly. “It’s like James Murdoch is saying nasty things about Fox while he’s rides on a jet paid for by Fox News, in it from his mansion paid for by Fox News, on his way to his yacht paid for by Fox News.”
Kelly went on to say, “So spare me if I don’t have my little violin out for him and others, you know, who profited off of the Fox empire and now just want to say they’re disgusted to have made a mint off of him.”
Kelly’s guest, internist and media personality Dr. Drew Pinsky, said, “We call that hypocrisy. It’s just hypocritical.”
“Right,” said Kelly.
“You don’t get to capitalize on what they’re providing and own it and then complain it’s disgusting, you don’t want anything to do with it,” said Drew. “If you don’t want anything to do with it, spin it off, that’s fine, that’s all cool.”
Drew mentioned that he did “a nightly newscast on Fox 11” in Los Angeles “and every time I talked to what I was doing, I would have to say, ‘Not Fox News and you have to think Family Guy, it’s that Fox.’ It’s weird, just the mention of Fox News raises tons of feelings to people.”
“Yes it does,” replied Kelly. “I’m aware. Yes, I’ve heard that.”
