Tracy Morgan Goes OFF on Draymond Green for Disrespecting the Knicks: ‘This Is the Home of King Kong!’

Tracy Morgan briefly hijacked an Inside the NBA segment to call out Draymond Green for his recent comments about the New York Knicks.

Last week, Green called the Knicks’ success this season a “fluke” on his podcast The Draymond Green Show. His argument was that because the Eastern Conference is relatively weak, the Knicks aren’t a true championship contender.

As part of his part-tie media obligations when the Golden State Warriors aren’t playing, Green filled in on Tuesday’s episode of Inside the NBA. Ahead of Game 5 between the Knicks and the Indiana Pacers, the crew threw it over to sideline reporter Chris Haynes. Surprisingly, Haynes was joined by Morgan, who had some words for Green.

“Let me tell you something, Draymond,” Morgan said to. “I love you like cooked food. I love you like the fat kid loves cake. Don’t talk crap about my team. This is New York City, kid! This is the home of King Kong! This is where he died, OK! The Warriors is from there, OK! This is how we get down! This is New York City — period. Don’t talk crap about my team, Draymond. I love you. Peace!”
